HUNTING

Most Brittany Spaniels possess a natural instinct for hunting classed between average to strong.  No matter where you purchase your Brittany, you have a good chance of making him/her a hunting dog of at least average ability.  If you wish to acquire a Brittany mainly for hunting it is best to go to a certified breeder who possesses dogs with hunting titles.  Always meet the parents of your futur dog.

VERY IMPORTANT.  Ask to see their pedigrees.  This will enable you to better gage the temperament of your pup.  The parents should also have pedigrees in conformation and obedience.
