- Both the sire and dam of our puppies come from quality champion stock. Both meet the requirements of the written CKC standards for the breed in conformation as well as temperament. Some of our dogs have obtained obedience titles, temperament test titles and canine good citizenship titles.
- Before breeding both male and female are x-rayed for hip dysplasia. It’s a degenerative disease of the hip joint. It causes the dog pain when he walks. - Attentive care and proper nutrition all through pregnancy climax in a carefully supervised whelping. Puppies are individually recorded and identified by colored ribbons at birth. The puppies are born and raised in our home.
- At 7 weeks, we evaluate their aptitudes and personalities. Conformation and temperament indicate which tend toward calm and cuddly, and which will be reserved. Naturally, this information helps place puppies with new owners and their lifestyles. We like to take pictures of them and post them on our web site. They are ready to go to their new homes at 9 weeks.

- Both mother and pups are fed the highest quality dog food.
- The pups are raised in a busy part of the house where they are socialized, groomed and exposed to different kinds of stimuli. They are also exposed to children.
- We spend time with each new owner, educating and answering questions. We give all new owners an educative booklet.
- We like to call new owners to make sure the pups are adjusting well. Each new owner receives a health guarantee, a vaccination record, minimum three generation pedigree, guarantee of registration with the CKC and non-breeding registration. New owners agree to neuter/spayed the dog at the appropriate age and give it thorough puppy care and proper nutritional needs.
- We encourage new owners to stay in contact with us and ask questions at any time during the dogs’ life.
